Why did you choose to use XSitePro for creating this site? I've been using website builders for the last few years- you name it, I've tried it. Honestly, I was not happy with what was out there and had to settle on the best that I could find at the time. Before I learned about XSP, I was using a well known web-based website builder for my websites. Believe it or not, I used them for two years even though they charged $29.95 per month PER SITE, but I really had no other choice at the time. (That adds up fast when you have 3....4....5 or more sites!) When it comes to programming or HTML, I really didn't (and still don't) know anything. I'm a Marketer and much rather spend my time doing that than learning how to build websites from scratch. It reached a point that I was quickly outgrowing the company I was using - not to mention the fact that I wanted to add four new sites which would have added another $120.00 in monthly payments to what I was paying already. While searching for an easy to use website builder, I found XSP. (Note: I researched every single website builder available on the Internet today.) Because you offered an entire year for me to use the software and if I didn't like it, you'd provide me with a full refund... what did I have to lose? I decided to jump in and see what this was all about. Within just a few days I launched my first site with XSP. Within a week I launched a few more. And within a couple of months, I had launched over 27 sites. That would have cost me $808.65 PER MONTH with the other company I was using! I have been impressed with the customer service and product since day one, which was something that I did not get from the other company I was using. And on top of everything, I'm able to do 1000 times more than I have ever before with XSP. The added tools are incredible!
How long did it take you to design the site? The Robert-Hawthorne.com website was an interesting site to create. It was the site where I really want to put XSP to the test. Most of the other sites I created were built using your templates, but I wanted to see what I could do creating a site starting from a blank template. I spent a couple of hours looking at Fortune 500 Company websites to get ideas from and then began to design the site. In total, it took me about an hour to get the look, feel, and graphics just the way that I wanted them. And once I had the design in place, I just created page after page... after page... after page!
What other software did you use to create this web site (e.g. graphics packages)? You're going to laugh at me for this one. To show you how "green" I am when it comes to building sites, using graphics, etc. the primary program that I used to edit and size my graphics was Microsoft Paint, which everyone has on their computer. Now as far as posting videos on my website, I simply used the program that I talk about on my robert-hawthorne.com website, which is very easy to do as well, especially with your "snippet" feature.
What are your favorite two features in XSitePro? One of the features that really got my attention was the ability to upload your website to a server from the software itself. At the time I had never logged into a server and knew nothing about it. Making a site go live was fast, easy, and painless. (Since then, I now have my own servers and have learned a thing or two, but I still use the upload feature!) Althought I do not want to share this... my favorite feature that tops everything is the SEO tab. Because of that feature, I have several sites listed on the first page in the major search engines. That feature is more powerful than most people know and frankly, I don't want too many people learning about it!
How easy to use do you find XSitePro? As with anything, there is a learning curve especially if you have never built a website using a WYSIWYG editor. However, the step-by-step instructions are exactly what a newbie needs to learn how to build their first website. And folks, once you build your first site, before you know it you'll have ten of them out there. And by the way, the manual and help tab that comes with this is by far the most detailed I have ever seen and answers every question that may arise. It even provided the winning lotto numbers for last weeks drawing. (kidding on that last one.)
Which other web design software have you used in the past? Far too many to list here. I have tried at least 20 other website builders in the past. And with most of them, I only had them for one day because they were... well... horrible. Some were online, some sent me a disk to install their program on my computer, and others... well, I have yet to figure out what they do.
Why do you prefer XSitePro to the software you used in the past? Features, features, features. As I've mentioned, there are a thousand things that I can do now that I wasn't able to do before. This has opened the doors to other income opportunities that was simply not available to me in the past, which has become a little hobby for me. One of my XSP websites that was a brand new website I created on a brand new domain has brought in a five-figure profit over the last few months. If I was still using the other website builder, I would have never come up with the idea and frankly, it just wouldn't have been possible using other website builders.
How long have you been building web sites? I created my first VERY ugly website using a basic website builder back in 2002. I still laugh when I think about what it looked like. Scribble on a paper a few times and that's about what my site looked like.
Would you recommend XSitePro to others? Yes- as long as they don't plan to compete with me in the markets I'm already in or plan to be in over the next 20 years. :^)
What advice would you give to people thinking about purchasing XSitePro? Do it. To be honest, there really isn't anything to think about. Yes, it is worth the $197. Don't tell Paul this, but knowing what I know now, I truly would have paid a thousand dollars for this within a second. That's the truth. I mean think about it... where else can you go and use something for one day or even an entire year and if you don't like it, you can return it for a full 100% refund? A car? We wish. A house? Would be nice. Food? Yuck. Where else could you find a website builder this powerful and this easy to use? You can't. And folks, if you could... I'd be using it. Personally, I think Paul's offer is nuts. Wow... a full year! But truly, it shows that Paul believes in the product and he knows that once people get their hands on this software, they wouldn't give it up for ten times the money.
