I am having issues with the tool images showing in Web Pages - Design mode. I have attached a image to show what I mean. I have restarted the program and tried but still the same. Any ideas?

Is it happening to all your sites or only one site? Did you try rebooting your computer?

When did this start happening? Have you tried reinstalling XSitePro?

Started happening as of yesterday. I haven't used the software since about 6 or so months ago. Making some updates to the properties. Maybe there were some updates during this?

I haven't uninstalled and reinstalled yet.

Thanks Jason. Installed that update and they still look the same as before (pictures above). Any other ideas?

edit: btw I'm on a Win 7 64 bit system if that has anything to do with anything.

I'm on a Windows 7 64 bit system and XSitePro works perfectly, so I doubt it's that unless it's a setting you changed.

I think it's time to report this to XSitePro support: http://intellimon.helpserve.com/.

One last thing, did you completely uninstall the program before re-installing?

Yup. Did the full uninstall, ccleaner, full install (as admin), resource pack install. Still the same.

Could this be a memory issue?
Then again probably not, since you have Windows 64 bit and all.

Hi,

This is a problem we see from time to time with Windows XP.
On XP this happens because your operating system doesn't have enough window handles to server our program's request for handles. Handles are used to display GUI objects to the screen.

If you have multiple applications open at one time, can you shut some of the others down.
If you have many applications resident in your status bar, can you close all of them down, bar the essentials.
If you do not restart your machine regularly, can you do so, as handles can get lost as not all are always returned to the central operating system pool.

For Windows 7, this is far more likely to be a permissions issue during installation.
If you are running Windows 7, please right-click on the install file and select 'Run as Administrator'
This is a new Windows 7 security feature. :)

Please check that you do not have any security applications blocking the installation of XSitePro.

Also,
If installing XSitePro to the default location is not working:
Please reinstall XSitePro selecting c:\xsitepro for the program directory
and please select C:\xsitepro-data for the data directory.

I think i solved the issue which also bothered me for some long time now even with the help of the xsite pro support.
Try to do the following and see if it restores your menu icon toolbar problem within xsitepro.

Start Internet Explorer. Yes, I.E. and not xsitepro. the problem lies within i.e.
Select menu:
Tools
- Internet Options
-- Advanced
--- Reset
---- check => Delete personal setting
----- Reset
close explorer
reboot system
Start xsitepro and check if the menu icons are there again.

It worked for me. I am using Windows 7 64-bit. Internet Explore 8.

Before I discovered this I did a workaround. I created a second administrator account and used that one to run xsitepro without the menu icon problem.

Hope it helps for you because it was driving me crazy.

Hey Danniego,

That was IT! Did exactly what you stated and there all there now. I wondered what was changed because I never really use IE unless some tool uses it as a browser interface. But thanks again and if I could Rep you I would.
