Hi. I have just joined and would like to ask if there are any plans for XSP2 to be useable on a network?

I work from home and use two laptops and have set up a home network to do my work more efficiently.

One laptop is on one floor in my office the other is on another floor so I can access email, newsletters and what have you whenever the need arises so I don't need to go up and down!

I think it would really save a lot of time if I would be able to have access to my website projects at any time as well, rather than having to go back and forth from floor to floor within my home or disconnecting/connecting the "website" laptop each time I left my actual office.

Sometimes we get an "idea" in the most unusual places and it would be great to just pop in and get the job done at that moment and I think it would be a GREAT selling point!

Thanks for listening.

Miranda.

Is there any news regarding this topic?

My partner and I both own xsitepro and would like to share the projects that we work on without having to import and export constantly. She is in CA and I, in NY. Any hope?

I've been meaning to try using XSite Pro via Windows Remote Desktop. It should work as long as the remote login provides all the system and folder rights as the local user has.

Sounds excellent idea. I tried to get XSP views on this before but it would clearly be a great addition.

This would be a good opportunity for Intellimon to bring in some extra revenue by selling a network version or network extensions for XSite Pro. I suppose that they may be a bit wary since this would require a lot more support.

The ability for multiple autors to work on a site is on our opionion the single greatest need.
