Can one create a paid subscription membership site with X SitePro?

I want to know the answer to this too. Did you find out yet?

You design your site in xsp, then you need additional software to handle the paid memberships. DLGaurd.com has what you are looking for. I use the software for selling ebooks & find it to be a very good program. Support is excellant.

I think it is possible.

The problem lies in the intergration and what payment tools to use.

Assuming that we use Paypal as a start, it's easy to create the paypal code.

Xsitepro will need to create a return.php file where it will use Paypal API to authenticate the payment. (Web Payment Pro API or IPN API)

XSitepro will create the membership based on .htaccess

For user to manage their own profile, XSitepro can create a simple profile management file for that purpose.

dlguard is definitely a cheap way to go and really not that hard to customize the template.
