I set up website with a payment issue.

If you sign up as an individual you pay $79 one time fee and then 30 days later you pay $49 each 30 days until you cancel....

OR

You can take advantage of signing up your spouse at the same time for a 50% discount in the set up fee AND the monthly fee..
So if both sign up at the same time the set up fee would be $118.50 and then 30 days later you pay $73.50 each 30 days until you cancel.....

I am new to using Paypal on a website....I have used them for eBay auctions.

I contacted Paypal and they told me that I would have to have a web designer.....this may be true but what do I ask the web designer to do....

I just paid a web designer to set up the sign up page but it is not connected to Paypal.....and Paypal tells me that I need a web designer....

so it appears to me that I am not communicating the correct message....if any one know how to solve my payment issue....I would appreciate you sharing your knowledge with me.

I am offering mortgage credit coaching in my local area.....not repair for the world wide web....I meet with my customers in person....I meet with my first customer last night and i had to accept a personal check since my payment buttons were not working.

You can see my payment page http://www.AmericanMortgageCreditCoachi ... ow%21.html

I have limited web design knowledge so keep suggestion in simply English.

Are you accepting Credit Cards?

To do recurring billing, you need to be hooked up with PayFlowPro (a division of Paypal) because vanilla flavoured Paypal does not do recurring transactions. Once you sign up with PayflowPro ($50 a month I think) you need a system to process the orders, such as an external shopping cart system (which they list on their site as PayFlowPro compliant). Once hooked up with a shopping cart, you need to set up the API through them so they can use your PayFlowPro account to process your orders.

Make sense?
I hope not, because it is a pain in the butt.
That is the basics of it though, so you probably will need a web developer, but you will also need Paypal.

Oh yeah, and without submitting your form, it looks like you just got a simple form, with no actual "buy now" button.

That the Sign-Up page that I now have and change...

1. remove the "check" box.. Yes! I want to sign up my
spouse and take advantage of the 50% spousal discount.

2.Add "Click here for 50% spousal discount" button at
the end of the... Yes! I want to sign up my spouse
and take advantage of the 50% spousal discount.

3. Add Paypal code that charges the one time $79.00
fee

4. I will email them the $49.00 subscription link
after I have my first meeting with them....(Paypal offers a subscription service in their business account...without having to pay the $50)

5. Create a new Page...Spousal Sign Up! which you get
as soon as you click on "Click here for 50% Spousal
Discount"

6. Add Paypal code that charges the one time spousal
$118.50 fee.

7. I will email them the $73.50 subscription link
after I have my first meeting with them....

Using this method I will be able to get 4 Paypal payment buttons it will just be as automatic as I would like....but then my customers are meeting with me in person.

That will work, but you should put your bonus sign up, up front.
Click here to sign up your spouse, or click here to sign up as an individual.

Paypal does recurring billing. It is called a subscription and it is free ;)
