I have a suggestion for protecting our affiliate links on our sites.

Could XSitePro create a built-in system like 'Affiliate Link Cloaker' that encrypts our affilate links so nobody could 'hijack' a sale? It might work where we save our affiliate link in XSitePro, and then it generates a piece of javascript for us when we place it in our site.

And better yet, since XSitePro already uses cookies for its pop-up boxes, could XSitePro do something like Covert Affiliate, where XSitePro plants a 3rd party cookie on the visitors PC so if they do visit our affiliate's site later, we would still get the commission?

Because XSitePro already manages our Affiliate Links, it would make sense to build something like Covert Affiliate or Affiliate Link Cloaker into the link for us. Even if this was an "add-on module" I would buy it!

Thanks for listening.

I'm doing it with redirection pages. Also redirection pages help you to track visitors using any raw logs analyzing software.

I use Affiliate Cloner for my affiliate links. It creates a redirect page also.

I like it because no where does your actual affiliate link show up. You can name the redirect file anything you like, even duplicating the name of the affiliate site and that is all that ever shows when it is hovered over or clicked on.

Works with clickbank too. Even in your source code the actual affiliate link is not visable so it can never be changed.

While it would be nice if XSP had this feature built into it, for now at least there are some very good software products for sale that make creating secure affiliate links a simple thing to do.
