Great ideas. I can see a lot more could go into the Mobile tab in XSitePro.

How about an iPhone Preview???

I've just added a Mobile Resources page, listing some Mobile Tools you can use with XSitePro, see it at:

Plenty that "could" be done on the Mobi versions.

I dont know the figures for net access via Mobiles but I would bet my last baht its GROWING.

Must try and stay ahead of the market, not playing catch up later. Bretts iphone preview I would say is an absolute must.

Out of interest - do Tabs and Pads fall inot the Mobile category i.e. in the way they display pages. graphics etc. If they do then even more important not to lag behind in this field.

OK.... after being a little -ve there, lets be grateful XSP have taken the time in the first place to give us a Mobi version in the first place :D

Yes, I'm not sure how the site will look, but soon I will publish and find out, I'm afraid to look, on my own iPhone  Anyway, if I have to write Mobile code, it can't be that bad.... but I would prefer that XSP include it, it would save me tons of time!

I have to say I haven't paid much attention to it before and I am sure I am not alone. However given the market share now the "ostrich" attitude has to stop, for me at least.

Tiger,

This might help you pull your head out of the sand  !

Do a search for your keywords on this page, you will see if you are ranked (or not) on Google Mobile:

BTW, I have published all of my Mobile Recommendations on this page at my site:

Have any of you guys tried the LongTail video player instead of XSite video wizard? The reason I am asking is if it works well they are offering 50% off right now and I really need to get my videos so they all play on mobile devices?

Hi,

That's the same player used in Easy Video Player, it's customized though... Here's the Easy Video Player link:
http://www.easyvideoplayer.com

If it's 50% off I do not see it, do you need a coupon?

Easy video player is obviously much more capable than just the video player I asked about and the 50% off coupon for Longtail was a promotional email that I got good until Jan 31

Thank you for the information, I may consider this instead:)

BRILLIANT - it sure has bud!

I have a site gets 2000 a day from being top on G for about 2 years.

Its not even on the first 4 pages on GMobile. I gave up lo9oking after four.

Will get my skates on - that was a great bit of info and link.

If you really want to get shocked check out how many visitors you are (or are not) getting from Mobile Devices - follow the instructions on this page:
