Overall awesome program! I just wish that, in some cases, there were more complete line-by-line instructions. For instance, nowhere do I find line-by-line instruction on how to fill in the links dialog box, either when trying to create an external link or a link to an in-page anchor. How do we find, for example, what we are supposed to put in the "class" box under the "Class" tab, or the ID and Text boxes under Attributes tab?

Thanks very much, Eric

Hi,

You can leave those things blank. They are advanced features for pro webdesigners that use custom CSS. If you want help with CSS I have quite a lot of experience, just ask ;)

Links work just fine by leaving those property boxs either blank or at their defaults. Like Mark said those options are there for more advance programmers. You can google for some of those program properies and get a some answers. You can even experiment and change some of them and see what results you get. If everything in the manuals had line by line instructions the manual would be so long that it would take you years to read it and never get around to designing your website.

Hi,

I want to defend XsitePro a little here. Especially in regards to the manuals and tutorials I have never seen something so complete and detailed before with any other webdesign software. What we get here is not just a manual it's more like getting a complete website building training course as well.

Cheers,

Yes, overall, as I said, I would agree, it's an awesome program... what got me "xsited" was the seo capabilities as much as the visual layout capabilities... As others point out, no other program comes close to helping you with seo... THe forum is also very helpful, with people answering Qs.

Specifically with regard to my question about Tables, a support person from XSite emailed me and said that their XSite Pro CLub (I think that's what it's called) also has an excellent video on designing with Tables.
