I was a bit dubious about forking out USD for this program because I had read a couple of negative reviews about it. But I figured I had purchased the X Site Pro design program , and if I wanted to be serious about designing sites and selling them - I needed to invest in as much training as possible. Im so glad I did - its going to save me heaps of time trawling thru the manuals trying to figure things out on my own.
My only previous experience with web design is putting together one WYSIWYG site from a hosting company template - it took me about 40 hours!! Im not stupid but its a whole new ballgame for me.
Im a visual and hands on person and this course is really well designed and clearly presented and extremely thorough - its better than being in the classroom.
I'm only up to module 7 and already I've gone back over the first website I designed and done some basic tweaking as taught and it looks heaps better and I know there is lots more to come. I must admit a couple of times I have thought "why are you going over this, its so basic" but I kept watching - and I learnt something new. Excellent value for money for those of us starting out. Hopefully, the team will build on this and come up with more programs to help us to continue getting the most out of this great software.
