That's all I could say at first.

First, a little about my background. I consider myself an advanced web designer. I've been tinkering on the net for over 12 years. I'm familiar with Joomla, XOOPs, and Wordpress. I can code my own website by hand in Notepad. Preferred language is PHP. Over the years I've studied a lot on the topic of SEO (online and offline implementation). This study includes SBI (Site Build It).

I somehow stumbled upon the trial version of the software. Initially upgraded and no longer trial. I discovered that if you install first, then activate, then upgrade everything is fine. I have read on the website and forums that the "trial" is no longer offered. All I can say is that if they would put it back up and let people get a taste of how powerful, yet also can be simple, the software is, they can get more people. I'm one of those people. I'm not willing to even spend $20 on something that has nothing more than screenshots or videos. I want to actually get behind the wheel and make sure I like the feel of it. This is especially so in the case of the cost of this software.

Now, enough of the negative. On to the positive. I mentioned SEO. I've been researching lately about PLR (Private Label Rights). I have access to tons of PLR content (articles, ebooks, etc). I stumbled upon the "import" feature in XSitePro. At first I thought it was only text files. So, for the heck of it, I thought, "I wonder what would happen if I tried importing plain text (.txt) files?" I tried it. I told it the folder of the text files. I then selected the option to convert them to .html. BAM!

To put it rated G, Holy ****! In less than 1 minute I basically created the bulk of a good site that could be monetized! All I really need is a different design for each PLR topic. I can easily import the PLR text articles. Only thing left to do is of course format the text the way I want (e.g. center titles, etc) and then of course enter the keywords and descriptions of each page. Sure, still some legwork but it sure would beat the heck out of opening, copying, and then pasting the text of each article. That's not count having to "create" the page. It's just a click to add a page but the import feature pretty much automates it all.

I then started salivating once I saw all of the cool features that SEO uses so much (i.e. search engine sitemap, robots, and XML syndication). To top it off I had just recently read about mobile sites a while back. Now seeing that this software can also automatically (so to speak) convert my sites to mobile-compatible as well as detect mobile browser and forward people to the mobile version. Wow!

I've only been playing around with it for about an hour. Once I'm able to get the funds I'll definitely be purchasing this software. Being the type that likes to tweak and add my own customizations, I can see a lot being done with this software.

Hi,

I'm really pleased that you are enjoying XSitePro and it's features!

I agree that a lot of people would rather try the software first hand, I actually added a link to the trial in our knowledge base earlier this week :)

If you have any questions at all, feel free to get in touch :)

Rob,

I'm curious as to why the free trial was removed?
