Can you recommend some good photoshop tutorials? I've just installed Photoshop CS3 and I'm looking for some good tutorials to help me get started and to help me move on to the more complex stuff. My friend tried to download some for me but couldn't find anything. How about recommending a book I could buy.

Yes it is very good and the price is good as well. I think I paid $300 or $400 when it first came out (including bonus dvd)
