Hi Beefy,

Raising points like this will get you kudos, rather than kicked. :)
Here at XSitePro we do work very diligently to creating the very best application we can, partly because we are passionate about XSitePro, and partly because we are internet marketers too, and this is the tool we use daily.

Also a big thank you to Andrea for eloquently replying to may of the issues raised here.

As for the issue with the anchor points.
Now that this issue has come to my attention I will be setting up some test pages and give this some extensive testing.
If you want to test yourself, a recommendation would be to set up a simple web page that includes the feature in question (or combination of features ), and test that.

I will pass any findings on to our programming team who update XSitePro once or twice a month.
If any one else has any further details on this or any other issues, I will am very interested in hearing about them. :)

Mr. hjanes wrote, "I totally believe you can have issues with using tables. It's why I personally don't use them on my sites, but then again, I don't need to. It [XSitePro] may or may not be the best platform for using tables."

Now while I'm a relative newbie as well using this program having published only one website so far and depended quite a bit on tables, the above statement would in my opinion bolster the negative feelings of the original author of this thread. And the somewhat condescending “… but then again, I don’t need to” remark wasn’t at all necessary.

If XsitePro is not the best platform for using tables, then they shouldn't be available for use. That being said, there are many things that fledgling website designers need to learn outside the confines of XSitePro - because indeed it is the flexibility to go beyond the confines of "drag and drop" type designer programs that bring a lot of these folks to the table here.

But for those of us just starting out and relying on tables to keep our data in some kind of order on our pages as we struggle with the intricacies of HTML, etc., it's a little bit of a kick in the groin when it's revealed that just maybe we shouldn't be relying on tables at all. The bottom line is if it’s in the program, it should work.

This of course is just my two cents worth.

Tables are not a problem in XSitePro, indeed XSitePro is a table-based system! Sometimes blog posts go off in strange directions and need to be pulled back to what the issue really is. Often it helps to look for answers from Ben (XSitePro Customer Support) or from those of us who have had several years of experience using XSitePro. You can often tell who those people are by the large number of blog posts they've made.
