I want to create a Page Title including keywords to my home page showing at the top of the browser window and, more importantly, for SEO purposes. Everything I am reading says it is one of the most important on-page SEO techniques.

But I can’t see how to do this. For the nav bars I have used ‘Home’ and for the Page Title I have entered ‘Aromaticalee - aromatherapy products, training and massage’. When I look at the source it only gives me <title>Aromaticalee</title> which does not include any of my keywords. See http://www.aromaticalee.com.au, a test site I have set up to show this problem.

I’m hoping someone knows how to get round this as I have this problem with a client I re-created a site for in XSitePro and she has since lost all ranking for her main keywords - she is not happy!

I’m sure there is a way to deal with this but I just can’t see it - I really appreciate any help or suggestions anyone may have!

Thanks,
Lee

Hi Lee,

There are settings for this on the "Other tab"

Go to the Other Tab >> Website settings >> Page Title settings

Jason

Jason, thank you so much - it's worked!

I did try playing around with the Web Site Settings after looking at one of the training videos previously but it didn't seem to happen.

Your suggestion prompted me to be more persistent and it has worked this time - for some reason I need to save it a couple of times before it actually takes effect, not sure why ..... but hey, it works!

Thanks again,
Lee
