I have this cool code: <a href="mailto:">button</a>

It opens up a users default email. I would love to have it as a button action on one of my custom buttons (see leaf buttons on www.boisehaps.com info bar). How do I, or even can I, insert this snippet into the button?

Am I making sense? I want my leaf email button to contain this snippet and when my users click on that button it opens up their email. Possible?

Put this in the Source tab

Since they will be emailing YOU, probably you'll want to put YOUR email address in there, like this:
