Is there anyway to stop spam comments on your website? I am thinking maybe something similar to Akismet that one uses on a WP blog. I really like XCommentPro but I am getting a lot of let's just say unrelated comments that are not suited for all viewers(lol).

Hi Maureen,

XCommentPro has a few methods to cut down on Spam and clean the site of unwanted posts.

The first is to make sure the capcha feature is switched on.
This will stop automated processes from posting comments

The next is to vet all the comments before you allow them on the website.
Comments are easy to preview and delete in the administration section.

Have a look around the options, ans you will see other span filters too.
