My web pages are starting to show up in google search, but I don't understand why some of them appear like this:

I Love Carmel California - Brophy's Tavern
ilovecarmelcalifornia.com/Brophy's-Tavern.html
You are here: Home > Eat > Restaurants > Brophy's Tavern ... I Love Carmel California Site Map I Love Carmel California.com Privacy Policy Collaborate With ...

The top line is the link, then the page link appears underneath. However, for the descriptive text it says, "You are here: Home...etc." I thought this would populate with my descriptive text that I entered under my page settings in the description, but that doesn't appear.

This is my descriptive text that I thought would appear:
Have some fun at Brophy's Tavern, located in beautiful Carmel by-the-Sea and enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or happy hour where Graeme McDowell celebrated his 2010 US Open victory...

Does anyone have an idea why this might be happening and could perhaps suggest a way to fix the problem? Thank you. The website is www.ilovecarmelcalifornia.com

Google decides the description based on the query/the search terms.

Hi Heather

Boastman is correct Google will show the bit of the website that it thinks is most relevant to the search phrase that has been entered.
This can be the 'Description' that you add in the Web Page Settings section, is a snippet of content on the web page.

As Google can use the 'Description' section and this is the only section that you have any control over, it is a good idea to spend a little extra time filling in this section with search engine visitors in mind. Ie, it needs to be a short advert for website visitors to come to your web page. :)

Thank you both for your help. Think I'm on the right track now.
