I have seen a few posts that contradict and neither fixed my problem. Can anyone tell me what to post in the ftp directory? I have a connection with my server and wait for the files to upload, but when I go to pull up site I get the error message. I have uploaded blank, webspace/httpdocs and one other. None seemed to work. The training says none, but I think these videos were made a few yrs ago. Somebody please HELP!!!

godaddy is my domain and hosting account. I have my domain name, ftp server, user name and password set up with my hosting account.

You should have something like this -

Domain Name - http://www.your-main-domain.com

Home Directory - (leave empty)

ftp Server - ftp.your-main-domain.com

ftp directory - (leave empty)

If this is what you have, then I would say you have a typo somewhere.

If you want me to take a look , export the site and email it to me.

the site is live now and i'm not sure how i did it. but my main account with godaddy is http://thebookofnathantheprophet.com and i was able to direct http://second-coming-of-christ.com to it.

I'm assuming that i will be able to publish new content without a problem. can you think of anything that i need to do that i haven't already done. Thanks for your support.

Although my website is live, I still receive error messages when I try to publish.

Home Directory Blank

FTP server ftp.second-coming-of-christ.com

FTP directory Blank

User Name nathan1162

Password xxx

Any suggestions?

it is working now, but oddly enough I find that the initail screen will show explorer not able to find. Then refresh and it is shifted to http://thebookofnathantheprophet.com. I haven't done any updates to website, but I'm preparing them now. Your thoughts?

Hi,

A little confused.

Do you want both websites or are you just trying to have one domain forward to the other??

Also have you adjusted your htaccess file on the godaddy server?
