Hello,

I keep trying to change the page title, but whenever I change it the folder name and the menu text also change.

Is there a setting that allows me to just change the page title? Thanks

Look at the right side of the Page Settings window. There is a "Menu Text" box for entering the text you want displayed in the menu.
If there is no "Menu Text" entered, XSite Pro defaults to the Page Title.

Ok, so I can fix the "Menu Text" by manually editing it for each page, but if I change the "Page Title," it will always change the "Folder" name with it. I have siloing on which is why its a folder and not a File Name.

Issue fixed. I realized that I just needed to change the settings under "Options" in the siloing wizard.

Although I don't think it's possible to have the Page Title, Folder, and Menu Text each be different.

Hi Xrocker,

When you create a page you give it a Page Title and that Page title is carried over to the file name and the menu text.

The file name and menu text will always follow the Page Title until you manually change the menu text and/or file name.

So get the Page title the way you want it and then manually change the other two.

Jason

Thanks for that clarification Jason :D

I think I already posted another thread about this sometime back, but it's interesting how it won't let you change the "Folder" name when siloing is turned on. You have to turn siloing off and then manually change the name.
