I was wondering with the possible upgrade at some time in the future if it is worth investing in these courses from XsitePro
"The Complete Guide To Design"
"Complete Guide to Website Building"
has anybody tried them and what value did they bring
Many Thanks
Brian

It depends on your level of knowledge, Brian. As a Web designer and a software junkie, I was able to dive right in and I never looked at the tutorials and barely looked at the manuals, so I didn't need the courses, either. However, most of my clients are not coming from my point of view and experience, so many of them have greatly benefited from the courses. If I were you, I'd start with the free tutorials that comes with XSitePro. If you are still wanting more in-depth knowledge or you are still struggling with the design aspects, then consider the paid courses.

What stopped me "buying" any is that you aren't actually buying them, you're just renting yearly access to them (unless anything has changed).

Depending how many years you "rent" access to them the cost can be multiples the cost of Xsitepro itself. Doesn't work for me because I may go full on to make a website, study the videos before, then a year or 2 later want to do some more website building and want to refer to the videos again (and pay all over again for the privelige).

Might not be an issue for those that use Xsitepro all the time and won't forget what the course teaches them.

Not sure if this is what you are talking about here. But I have " Complete Guide to TrafficModule 06 - Article Marketing ". It was a free deal and it has downloaded to my computer. I save everything Xsitepro related and it downloaded as a setup file.

One thing I also have is a book named "Xsitepro 2.50 Essentials" I have this in a pdf and I know I did not buy it but forgot where I got it from. This book is huge and covers so much stuff. Like I said I have no idea where I got it but it's out there.
