1 and 1 doesn't support php?!!! That is just crazy! Talk about the stone ages!
If this is true, I would turn and run from 1 and 1 as soon as possible.
I never liked 1 and 1 anyway. Their customer service is terrible. If you have a disagreement with them on any topic, they continue to talk over you and not let you get a word in. Talk about RUDE.
They have also held me hostage on my admin panel. Let me explain.
I had a couple domain names that I decided I didn't want to renew, so like I do with GoDaddy, I just didn't renew and expected 1 and 1 to just cancel the domain names automatically. But no, they continued to support the unpaid domain names and didn't let me back into my admin to take care of my other domain names until I paid my bill on the domain names I didn't even want to keep.
And if you ever want to transfer a domain name from them to someone else like GoDaddy maybe, they make you jump through tons of hoops to do it.
Needless to say, I never buy domain names through 1 and 1 anymore.
I wonder who I could report this to and who would bother to look into it. ICANN maybe?
Oh, by the way...
I think you are going to be hard pressed to find a decent bullentin board that isn't PHP.
