One suggestion, change the blue background to "Dimgray." Your site will "pop" beautifully without the distraction of the intense blue colour.

Hello newbie here, This was my first site which was done last year, let me know what you think. I'd like to hear any suggestions that may improve it.
http://www.buttevant.ie
This is one I'm working on at the moment, not sure about the header image, kind of like the idea of doing a slide show, if anyone knows an easy way of doing it,
http://www.archweb.ie

Many thanks.

Just a few things about the Buttevant site. The background image in the Main Panel makes it hard to read the text. The image is also repeating which is not what you want here.

The navigation style you have chosen doesn't lend itself to long menu links. I would choose something else or shorten any long links, e.g., Area Enhancement Plan.

The jumping text under the header is very distracting and the constant movement will cause some people to click away.

You can get a $7 report here that gives you two slideshows and the step-by-step instructions for implementing them in XSitePro.

If you mean the headers for those pages, Dave, they both are showing up fine.

For what its worth - on my IE9 the Buttevant web site header seems to display ok on the main page.

However, for the Archweb site it seems like the header image is starting to repeat/tile - a little bit to the right, and a little bit below the image - but maybe that's intentional... or maybe that was the question/uncertainty re the header image?

Until it gets transferred to http://www.BenkoProducts.com, the replacement site is at http://marapeck.com.
It should go live in a few weeks.
Any thoughts?
