The Print Page script is a great tool for your site’s visitors. Particularly effective on ‘informational’ pages, such as product specifications, price-lists and directions (on contact pages) the handy little feature can make it easier for your visitors to take away information from your site for future reference.
It is a relatively small component on a page, overall, but can make a real difference in terms of the interaction between visitors and your page content. Your objective should be to provide as good an experience as possible for visitors to your site, so take full advantage of positive enhancements such as the print page script when you can (and where appropriate, of course).
Tip: On all pages with a “Print” link, be sure to include plenty of references to your site – including a URL, logo and company name. This ensures that if someone circulates their printed page they will be advertising your business for you.
