This script gives a headline, or any other text, a very unusual wiggle that is sure to attract the eye of anyone looking at the page. It is the Web page equivalent to the Mexican wave. Starting with the first letter, each letter in turn raises itself slightly above the line, before lowering itself again.
This is a neat looking effect, which used at the right time and in the right context, can be very effective. It is definitely not the kind of thing you'd want to use several times on every page, but used judiciously it will add an attractive and unusual flourish to your web copy.
Selecting this script from the list of scripts (how), and clicking the button loads the following screen:
We need to set four pieces of information for this script:
Text - In the box labeled ‘Text’ you should enter the text that you want to apply this effect to. You can type as much or as little text as you like, but it is best not to enter too much text as it can spoil the effect.
Font Style - Select the desired font from the drop-down list.
Font Size – Choose the font size that you would like to be applied to your text.
Font Color - Choose a font color for your jumping text.
Once you have entered those two pieces of information, simply click the button to insert the script into your Web page at the cursor-point.
