The Channel Info settings let you choose how channel information will be displayed in your feed box. The channel is the Web site providing that feed (e.g. CNN, BBC, Yahoo).
Show Title and Description – If you select this option the title and the description of the channel for the feed will be displayed at the top of the feed box.
Show Title Only – If you select this option only the title of the channel from where the feed is coming will be displayed.
Hide – Choose this option if you want to hide the title and description of the channel from which the feed is coming. This can be an useful setting if you want the feed content to blend in perfectly with your site, but sometimes people will pay more attention to content when they know where it is coming from. For example would you be more likely to pay attention to breaking news from CNN or Big Joe’s Newsstand.
If you do choose to display either the title or the title and description of the channel from which the feed is coming, you can customize how this information looks by adjusting the font, color, hover color and visited color.
Font – Select a font, and size of font, that is appropriate for the location of the feed box. You can also change the settings for bold, italics and underline.
Color – This is the default color for the channel title and description.
Hover Color – This is the color that the channel title and description will be displayed when someone hovers their mouse over it.
Visited Color – This is the color that the channel title and description will be displayed if someone has previously clicked on that link.
