document.write('<div class="rss-item-desc"><p>EAST Yorkshire proved itself as a wonderful place to welcome   visitors from all over the world this week.</p> <p>Up to 20,000 were estimated to have attended the FIE European Pony Championships at Bishop Burton College, near Beverley.</p> <p>The prestigious five-day  event  for 12 to 16-year-olds finished yesterday, which alongside the two-day Town And Country Event, returned after a four-year break.</p> <p>Great Britain galloped ahead in the show, achieving gold in the Team Eventing Show Jumping.</p> <p>The UK also came second   in the Team Eventing Cross Country contest.
